How to Attend Private School and Look Rich
Not everybody who goes to private school is rich, but many are. Whether you want to impress someone, or just fit in, this article is for you. It's easy to overdo it; here's how to master the understated look of the rich crowd.

- Pick out your clothing:
- If your school has a uniform, wear it. Try to buy all of the various tops and bottoms that you are allowed to wear to school.
- If your school does not require a uniform, try shopping at Target, J.C. Penny, or Sears. Also, look through clearance racks at Aeropostale, A&F, American Eagle, and Hollister.
- Buy jewelry that is very classy. Add a small piece of jewelry to your outfit: a silver locket or a charm bracelet can both look sophisticated and rich.
- Use three different bags: a small hobo bag that can function as a purse, a backpack for your books, and a tote bag to carry any loose papers and notebooks. Always keep your backpack with you-lugging around too much stuff with only your hands doesn't look classy. Switch out your other two bags depending on what stuff you need to haul around.
- Don't wear sneakers unless you are in P.E. class. Always try to wear ballet flats or Mary Jane's.
- Wear minimal amounts of makeup. Use only coverup, mascara, and lip gloss.
