How to Be Successful in a Large Airsoft Game/Community

So, being a member of my state's airsoft forums, here are a few things that you should probably know before you try and think that you know everything and show up to a game completely unprepared for it.

[edit] Steps

  1. Read what other members of your community say before you try and speak up. Introduce yourself to the other members, and be sure to listen to advise(especially if you ask for it).
  2. Don't ask stupid questions. Chances are, you can find it somewhere else online because somebody else probably already asked the same question. If you can't find an answer, then ask.
  3. Listen to the veterans. They've been there and done that and will have valuable advice to give you. Don't tell them you're wrong(especially if you've only been playing for less than a year). They can help you, use them.
  4. On game day, come prepared. Make sure you have batteries charged, mags loaded, etc. Know your teammates and listen to those who are in charge.

[edit] Tips

  • Everybody was new at one point so don't feel too bad if you have a question about how things work. Just do some work before you ask something stupid.
  • Go to BIG games i.e.: games not held in someone's backyard. Backyard airsoft may be fun, but it's not the same as a game with 100+ people.
