How to Be Totally in Style in the Summer

Hmmm. When summer strikes, where do you go from there? Maybe it's time to upgrade and customize your wardrobe into something cool to wear...everyday.

[edit] Steps

  1. Wear lots of colors. If you like bright colors, summer is a great time to show off your love of colors into what you wear! Remember, keep those dearly loved shorts you wore last year, or that crazy t-shirt everyone complemented.
  2. Buy some nice, bright colored shirts. Make sure these kinds of shirts are a little long, but not dresslike.
  3. Own some jeans. Don't care about those guys who say jeans look trampy or "average." They totally go with everything and they're cute! Make sure you wear jeans on summer evenings, in the daytime, it's all about skirts and shorts!!
  4. Pair up those bright tees with something short and simple, like shorts!! Black sport shorts go with anything, and are quite ordinary, but if you don't wanna stand out that much, these are quite nice.
  5. Wear different skirts for different occasions. Layered, denim, or black! Keep the length just the way you like it.
  6. Accessorize. Get some special earrings for each outfit! Bright, chunky ones are really in. You can get these really cheap in dollar stores. Studs are neat too... they make you look simple, which is cute.
  7. Shoes. Have an appropriate supply of these!! They make you look like you just came from the beach. Also, invest in black or any other colored pumps that work with anything!

[edit] Tips

  • Bracelets and beaded stuff coordinating with your outfit look pretty cool. You can make these yourself, for fun and fashion!!!
