How to Be Your Child's Superhero
Ever want to be your little one's or a little one's superhero? Follow these procedures and hope for the best.
[edit] Steps
- Always have time for them'. Most parents or people who want to guide them, are always cluttered with paperwork, errands, etc. Create either a fixed time when you can take a break for them or try to cut down what you REALLY don't need to do.
- Don't smoke or drink. The more you do so, the more either, the child could be scared of you or think what you do is cool. If you do smoke or drink. Keep it down to the most minimum. Whenever the sun is down and maybe if you are really don't want to hide it because there is a high chance of them catching you, just try to quit.
- Help out. Help the environment. Volunteer. Get awards, certificates, WORK HARD. When kids see their role model working hard to succeed, they want to do the same.
- Keep them clean. Don't overdo junk food. Don't let them do anything stupid. Make sure that they know that the healthier you are, the more advantages you have. You should do the same, or they might turn on you.
- Have fun. If you are not the parent/guardian, do what the parents want their child to do. If the child get two types of teachings, he/she will have to choose one of them and get confused with decisions at a young age, it is not healthy.
- Let them have a say. If you keep demanding them to do things, they get angry and breakout. If you always have a schedule without confronting them if they like it, they may not enjoy it and they may only do it to make YOU happy, and if all you want is them to be happy, you got a problem.
[edit] Tips
- Try to be true to your words. They always hate when you give good advice but they never see you take it yourself. It always slips out of your mind, but you'll get it stuck in there eventually.
- Try to listen to them. Children hate when they can't be listened to and they have to work like a servant. Try to ask them if everything is alright.
- Try to be careful, taking advantage of a child, (to do something unintentional)in a wrong way may scar the child for life. If you are telling them to get the mail from the mailbox, there is not harm in such thing related to that. If you drive the child the wrong way, you may not see them. Regardless if you are the parent or not.
[edit] Warnings
- Don't always try to please them. If they need to learn a lesson from doing something wrong, don't be afraid. NO HITTING. INJURY IS AGAINST THE LAW AND CAN CAUSE MAJOR CONSEQUENCES.
