How to Be a Cover Girl
Have you even seen commercials or ads for Cover Girl? When they come on, do you think, "I wish I was that girl,"? A Cover Girl is a friendly, down-to-earth girl that everyone likes. This is how to be a Cover Girl on the inside, and on the outside.
[edit] Steps
- Get the look. Cover Girls are all about looking healthy and beautiful. They have big, white grins that light up a room. Keep your teeth healthy by drinking lots of milk which has calcium in it that keeps your teeth strong. Put on chap stick so your lips won't be dry and cracked. Also, they have beautiful skin. Keep your skin moisturized and free of blemishes. You can do that by putting on lotion and washing your face every night. Luckily there are products out there that you can also wear. But don't put on too much - its all about being easy, breezy, and beautiful.
- Get the personality. The most important part is to be nice and friendly and never mean to anyone. You don't have to be happy and bubbly all the time, but remember to smile and say hello to people. Also, they are very real and very down-to-earth. Nobody likes "fake" people. So if you try too hard, you're going to come off as fake. Just be yourself, and people will want to be your friend.
- Dress the part. You don't have to buy expensive clothes to be well-liked(but if you can afford designer clothes go for it!). But of course, you don't want to dress so poorly that it doesn't look like you are trying at all. Wear simple clothes in bright, happy colors. People will want to talk to you.
[edit] Tips
- Don't over accessorize. The Cover Girl's motto is less is more.
- Keep your hair simple. Wear it in ponytails and messy buns.
- Be there for your friends. Let them know that you'll be there to lend a helping hand. You can bet they'll do the same for you.
- Try saying one nice thing to a person a day. Before you know it, you will be complimenting people without even trying.
[edit] Warnings
- Don't be too bubbly and friendly, unless that's your normal personality. People will think that you're fake. Cover Girl's are about keeping it real.
