How to Be a Hard House Chick
Here’s how to become a cool Hard House Chick
[edit] Steps
- Buy and listen to lots of Hardhouse music and have it loud! Listen to it on your iPod, while dancing in your room, as you work out, or whenever and wherever you want. Listen to techno radio stations that really dig Hardhouse. If this doesn’t apply, try web radio
- Dress funky. Wear funky clothes (any color, preferably lighter, bright colors), and cool unusual accessories. Avoid makeup with dark, or little color (unless, you really like them). Wear your hair in unique, wacky styles. Get some clothes that symbolise hardhouse. If you can’t find any, get your own made for you. For example, “I love hardhouse” “hardhouse 4ever” etc. Anything that symbolises you and your liking for the music. Even T’s that talk about dancing or parties will do
- Go to hardhouse clubs ever weekend (if possible). Get some good friends together, pump it up on the way to your night out, dance to it and let off steam out clubbing, and blast the car speakers with it on the way home, unless you have to catch a cab if you all have been drinking
- Check out local gigs and events every week. If there’s any good DJ’s playing in your area. If so, go! If not, go clubbing. If that’s not even an option (clubs are too far away, not many hardhouse events on). Have your own party. Invite all your friends along, have lots and lots of room to dance, and pump it up all night. Make sure you have a good supply of music. Use your own, and ask friends to bring some of there's’ along, just to make sure that you don’t run out
[edit] Tips
- When you have a party, mixed Cd's are best, because you don’t get that ugly pause in between songs
- Dark colors of clothes, makeup and accessories are fine on the oddest of occasions. Keep colors like black, grey and brown to a low low minimum.
