Obtain the costume from the January clothing catalog.
Go to the Cove and sit on the rocks by Catchin' Waves. Say stuff like "Brushes long, beautiful hair." and "Swims with dolphins." or "Looks for pretty shells."

Little kids and single men may be attracted to you. It's always good to remember this!
Save drowning people. It helps people and you might become popular!
Make friends with other mermaids. You can swim with dolphins and collect shells together.
Not every mermaid stays in the ocean. If you want to get out and be just a plain old penguin again, walk up onto the beach and say "Puts on legs" that way you can be a penguin again!
You can pretend you have control over water. It can help you if a squid tries to attack you!

Not only are kid and men attracted to you, so are squids. They will grab on to you, ink your hair, and maybe even try to kill you! But not all squids are bad. It's hard to tell the good from bad.
People may try to capture you, hurt you, and even expose you to the rest on club penguin. They may also mistake you for sharks and fishes.
Beware of sharks. They can kill you.
