  2. Read a collection of his books. A list of his best selling books can be found here. You can find stories online or in your local library.
  3. Have kids create their own characters[1]. Give them a mix of paper towel cardboard rolls, toilet paper or felt, pom poms, glitter, glue, pipe cleaners, and any other arts & crafts item to think of. Have them create their own imaginary story with the character they made.
  4. Make your own Dr. Seuss crossword puzzle. Use character names and book titles. Challenge yourself to another level and use lines and quotes from the different books.
  5. Watch a variety of Dr. Seuss's videos. Sing along to "You're a Mean One, Mr. Grinch" while watching "How the Grinch Stole Christmas". Make a shiny star to put on your stomach and act like a Sneetch.
  6. Read a Dr. Seuss book as a bedtime story. If they are old enough, have them read the stories to you and point out what actions the characters are doing.
