Snail mail won't work

Some of your wikiHow friends and acquaintances have arranged for you to be able to contact them via email. Since every word appearing on talkpages is public, and all the information you post there becomes part of the indelible wikiHow record, you may occasionally wish to use a more private means of communication.

Click on the username of the person you wish to reach. This will send you directly to the user's Author Page.
Click on the small blue envelope next to the name. This will bring up the email page.
Fill in the text box to enter your email message.
Click send.

Your attempt will work only if the user has a valid email address entered into his or her wikiHow user profile.
Some users have set their user preferences so as not to allow any email contact. In this case, you will see a message indicating as follows: No e-mail address-- This user has not specified a valid e-mail address, or has chosen not to receive e-mail from other users.

[edit] Warnings

When you send your message, you will send along with it, your email address. If you do not wish to compromise your privacy in this manner, do not click that little blue envelope. Just stick to talkpage communication.
