How to Fix Up a Polo Shirt

Are you tired of plain polo's or button downs that show no personality? Try these fashion tricks to send your blouse from blah to TAH-DAH!

[edit] Steps

  1. Try layering polo's. A white one on top and a blue one underneath makes for a crisp combination.
  2. Pull the collar up, if you want to be slick.
  3. Put on a cute tank top or cotton camisole underneath for a finishing touch, if you're a girl. The front of your tank top or camisole should show through the unbuttoned collar.
  4. Try a coloured long sleeve shirt under your polo if the weather is nice or somewhat cool.
  5. If it is cold outside, a turtle neck shirt may also help to fix up a polo.

[edit] Tips

  • If you're made to wear collared shirts for school, work etc., try buying them in unusual colours and designs such as pinstripes.
  • If you are able to, you can personalize a polo by stitching you initials on the collar or on the front of the polo.
  • Accessories go a long way.

[edit] Warnings

  • Don't go overboard by wearing too many polos (more than two).
