Ever been tormented by the unbearable squeak of a chair? Squeaky chairs can ruin the environment of an office, destroy the ambiance of a restaurant, and drive you insane. Read on to find out how to get rid of the horrible squeak of a chair.

  1. Tighten the nuts, bolts, and screws. Turn the chair over and look at all the nuts and bolts. Get a screw driver and tighten any lose ones. Even try to tighten those that don't appear lose.
  2. Oil the mechanism. Grease or oil all joints as well as the nuts and bolts you tightened above. You may use a spray or a soft cloth to apply the oil/
