How to Fold a CD Cover from a Sheet of Copy Paper

Have you got a spindle filled with CD's and DVD's? Want to categorize and label them? This is the cheapest way you will find.

This method uses an ordinary sheet of paper from a copier or printer, 8 1/2 x 11 inches, oriented in the portrait position.

  1. Fold up the lower portion of the sheet. This horizontal crease will be about 4 3/4 inches from the bottom of the page.
  2. Fold in the left edge. This vertical crease will be about 1 3/4 inches from the left edge.
  3. Fold in the right edge. This vertical crease will be about 1 3/4 inches from the right edge. Place disc inside at this point if desired.
  4. Fold down the top portion of the sheet to form the top flap. This horizontal crease will be about 1 1/2 inches from the top edge of the page.

  • You may want to label the top flap for easy identification of contents.
