How to Follow Your Intuition
Intuition is "knowing" something without using our normal five senses[1][2]. Learning how to separate the wheat from the chaff, so to speak, is difficult and is truly a gift. Most people may develop intuition, especially when following some of these ideas. Intuition is not considered a true science and is categorized as parapsychology.
[edit] Steps
- Trust your instincts. You will not always be right, but sometimes you will be lucky.
- Meditate. Some researchers believe using meditation will help intuition as it helps clear your mind and allow you to hear your inner thoughts. Find a meditative technique you are comfortable using and practice.
- Ask yourself questions and listen to your own answers. The answers that come from within yourself will be based on your own knowledge, experiences and intuition.
- Read some self-help books about intuition. For example:
- Developing Intuition: Practical Guidance for Daily Life by Shakti Gawain
- Awakening Intuition by Frances E. Vaughan
- Intuition: Knowing Beyond Logic by Osho
- Awakening Intuition: Using Your Mind-Body Network for Insight and Healing by Mona Lisa Md Phd Schulz and Christiane Md Northrup
- Remembering the Future: The Path to Recovering Intuition by Colette Baron-Reid
- Health Intuition: by Karen Grace Kassy
- The Intuitive Healer: Accessing Your Inner Physician by Marcia Emery and Caroline Myss
- Try some of the online research web sites for fun and to stretch your intuitive mind.
[edit] Tips
- Figuring out what is really your intuition and not the rational mind or something else is a self learning process that takes trial and error.
