How to Force Yourself to Like Someone

Forcing yourself to like someone is never easy. Here are some ideas and suggestions which may make this a little bit of an easier task to complete.

[edit] Steps

  1. Try to figure out what you don't like about that person. Is it the way they talk? The way they dress? Try to find their strong points, and pay attention to those instead.
  2. Listen to what the person has to say. It will do you no good to ignore them just because you don't like them for some reason.
  3. If you don't like the person because they are mean to you, then you should try to notify the person who is in charge. Tell them that you would not like to have any contact with the person who is bothering you.
  4. Try to say to out loud, every night before you go to bed, that you like the person whom you actually do not. This will help with this process in the long run.

[edit] Tips

  • Never be mean to someone that you don't like. Even if they are annoying, obnoxious, and mean, you should not lower yourself to that level.

[edit] Warnings

  • If they are bullying you, you shouldn't feel the need to like them. Instead, let somebody know that this is going on so it may end.
