How to Freestyle on a Shopping Trolley

Ever wanted to ride a shopping trolley around, doing tricks and all that stuff, well now you can.

[edit] Steps

  1. Get started: Hold onto the handlebar with both hands and start running/walking.
  2. Jump onto the trolley so that your feet land ontop of the parts that hold the back wheels on.
  3. Try the following moves:
    • Wheelie: lean back and pull on the handlebar when your front wheels lift off the ground hold that position
    • Basic turn: lean to your sides, to turn right lean to the left and vice versa.
    • Nose wheelie: sit on the front of the trolley with your feet on the thing that holds the front wheels to the trolley, now lean forward, and once your back wheels lift off the ground hold that position.
    • Bunny hop: stand in the regular position,(see step 1) and crouch until your neck is level with the handle bar, now push yourself off the trolley as if you were jumping and pull up hard on the handle bar, while doing this straighten out your body, and at the peak off your jump start to crouch again.
    • 180: do the same but as you jump, lean to the side as if turning,
    • a fakie hop: get into the position for a nose wheelie, and follow the steps for a bunny hop, only instead of holding the handlebar, hold the sides.
    • tailplant: get into the basic position, and pop a wheelie, only in mid wheelie move your hands from the handle bar to the sides of the trolley and kick your legs out, then move you legs back to step on the handlebar, now crouch down and bunnyhop into the air force your hands outwards so your arms are straight, now push the trolley down and land your feet into the basic position, then grab the handlebar.
    • noseplant: get into the basic position, now hop while leaning forward so that the front off the trolley lands on the ground, make sure your feet land on the bar that holds the front wheels on, now lean back and land back.

[edit] Tips

  • When you land, if you land left foot first you'll spin clockwise, and the opposite goes for if you land right foot first.
  • When practicing tailplants try doing them off of things so you can get back into the basic position.

[edit] Warnings

  • This is extremely dangerous. Severe injury is a distinct possibility.

[edit] Things You'll Need

  • a trolley
  • strong arms and legs,
  • plus a parking lot or flat area to ride on.
