On the road to becoming a professional snowboarder, having a big bag of tricks to throw down is always good. Both backside 720's,and frontside 720's are just two maneuvers to have on your side.

[edit] Steps

  1. Learn all of your basic tricks, starting with 180’s, 360’s and 540’s. Finding a perfect jump to feel comfortable learning new tricks is hard. Try to find a medium sized jump that you know will treat you well.
  2. Start off by rolling to the jump on your toe side edge, slowly lean over to your heel side edge right at the lip of the jump. Some people may prefer to FS 7 off of their toes.
  3. Pop off the lip on your heels and throw your shoulders in the front side direction. Look over your shoulders for two whole rotations.
  4. Watch when you get to the 630° position. This is when your back is facing towards the landing and you're just about to start spotting the land. At this point you are going to want to open up (let go of grab), look at the landing, make sure you are still where you want to be, and stomp it.

[edit] Tips

  • Being able to spot your landing is very important. Knowing where you are in the air is probably a good idea as well. You do no want to be upside down on this trick.

[edit] Warnings

  • You must learn basic tricks before stepping up to the plate for this one.
