How to Get Along with a Friend That Always Wants to Fight

Is your friend always wanting to fight with you? Are you at your wit's end? Here is the solution to the problem!

[edit] Steps

  1. Try and find what the issue is first. There may be a reason he/she is always feeling hostile towards you.
  2. Try and talk with your friend about this with a genuine attitude and concern. Otherwise it will turn them off or rub them the wrong way.
  3. Sometimes the reason a person may make it "seem" as though they are always looking for a "fight" is because their efforts of communication have always remained unattended to and unheard.
  4. If you are not willing to listen and work things out, neither will they and they will be the ones to walk away from you and hang with their real friends.

[edit] Tips

  • Be nice about breaking away from your friend, esspecially if it has been your best friend for a long time.
  • Have courage. Courage will get you through a lot of things.
  • Talk to a guidance counselor or your parents about the problem...they will help you get through it.
  • Have other friends to watch your back and be nice to you and maybe go someplace on the weekends or something.
  • If the friend your broke up with persists bothering you, ignore him/her.

[edit] Warnings

  • Don't yell or talk rudely...communication is important, but not rowdy, angry communication.
