Parents pissing you off with parental controls?? Well I have that too. I found out how to get around it possibly. it only works for certian programs though.

[edit] Steps

  1. If you have Internet Explorer, simply look at the bottom of your browser on the right, there should be a label called Internet with a globe symbol next to it....double-click the globe...then go to Restricted Sites...and delete it....parents may notice, to combat this maybe change the blocked link to a .org or .net if it is a .com
  2. # 1. open up internet or firefox or any other browser.
  3. 2. type this URL: www.firegamez.net it'll say sitesurfs.com on the site.
  4. 3. then on the page there should be something that says search or whatever. and type in the site you wanna go to like myspace.com or youtube.com or whatever. You can type in just about any site that's blocked on your PC. I learned that you can use this at schools too. Good Luck!!
  5. ALTERNATIVE METHOD:
  6. 1. Type in "keylogger" on Download.com.
  7. 2. Pick the best rated, free keylogger.
  8. 3. Download it, then install the program.
  9. 4. Enable the program, and then attempt to go to a website that is acceptable, yet still blocked. Then have your parent give you an over-ride, where they type in a password and the site comes up.
  10. 5. After they give you the over-ride, wait until they are gone. Then, open up the keylogger.
  11. 6. Find the file that says something like "text log". From there, find the password used to unblock that particular website.
  12. 7. Now that you have the password, consider yourself the God of Net Nanny, or whatever program. Feel free to grant yourself over-rides, alter the settings, or whatever else you please.

[edit] Tips

  • Don't have this get too popular. You don't want adults reading and finding out how to block this too.

[edit] Warnings

  • Parents may find out sooner or later...
