How to Get Cheap Cuff Links
Have you ever found yourself away from home and in need of cuff-links? These days, cuff-links are considered jewlery and can be quite expensive. If you need a cheap, quick fix - try this.
[edit] Steps
- Go to a crafts or sewing store, or the sewing or crafts section of a department store.
- Purchase two replacement buttons for dungarees or jeans. The backing is a tack that will fit through the button hole of the shirt cuff and still hold together.
- Assemble the button by pushing the tack in just far enough to catch and stay. This leaves room for the cuff.
- Insert the tack-side through the button hole on your cuffs and admire your thrifty cuff-links!
