How to Get Cheap Cuff Links

Have you ever found yourself away from home and in need of cuff-links? These days, cuff-links are considered jewlery and can be quite expensive. If you need a cheap, quick fix - try this.

[edit] Steps

  1. Go to a crafts or sewing store, or the sewing or crafts section of a department store.
  2. Purchase two replacement buttons for dungarees or jeans. The backing is a tack that will fit through the button hole of the shirt cuff and still hold together.
  3. Assemble the button by pushing the tack in just far enough to catch and stay. This leaves room for the cuff.
  4. Insert the tack-side through the button hole on your cuffs and admire your thrifty cuff-links!
