Dialga is a legendary Pokemon that will help you in many situations. Here's how you get it:

- Defeat the first 7 gyms and go to Mt. Coronet.
- Go through it.
- Defeat the Team Galactic boss.
- Face Dialga at level 47.
Tips for catching Dialga:
If you have any, try using a Quick Ball on the very first turn of the battle. Those are very successful, and they help many people catch the Dialga. If those don't work, try weakening the Dialga until it gets into red health by using super effective moves (such as Ground and Fighting moves). When Dialga is in red health, try throwing Ultra Balls at it. You could also try putting it to sleep or paralyzing it, which makes it a lot easier to capture. If all else fails, use your Master Ball, but that is highly unadvised, seeing as it could be used to capture Cresselia or Mesprit.

- Use a ground type like hippowdon . Dialga is weak against ground. Also use fighting types.
