How to Get Famous in a Small Town

When you say famous it doesn't mean "some manager will come and tell you you're going to be a big star". It means that when people come to your town they'll see you and say "I heard of you, you're a really good dancer", and they won't mean it in a bad way. Just think how great would it be to come back to your town in 3 years and people are still talking about how great you were at a certain skill? This article will help to get you to that point of small-town fame.

[edit] Steps

  1. Find a skill that'll separate you from others. For example: you can sing, dance, do comedy, act, ect. Being your self is most important and that's what you need to stick to in finding your fame.
  2. Go out for things that'll give you attention in a positive way.Example: go out for the talent show and do something so funny like dressing up as Napoleon Dynamite and doing his dance in a "vote for pedro" shirt. That'll make you stand out and get people to remember you. If you're a good dancer go out in the center of the dance floor at the dance and show your moves.
  3. Creativity is everything, if you can draw try making a mural that'll blow everyone's mind. Or, if you can play some "sick" electric guitar show it to the public and make it personal in your own way.
  4. If you don't know your skill try showing your smart side or your goofy side. People might look at you and go, "He/She's no dumby" or "Ha-that impression you did of the teacher was brilliant."

[edit] Tips

  • Fame isn't everything and you don't have to be remembered for outlandish things. You can just be yourself and people will see how real you are.
  • if you play an instrument try finding a local coffee shop or somewhere to play at

[edit] Warnings

  • Don't be so smart that people don't want to be around you.
  • Don't let fame get to your head:just like what many people have said, fame isn't everything.
  • Don't get yourself in trouble just to get attention, people hate posers or fake people who don't stay true to their true colors.
