How to Get Glue off of a Car

Have you ever had glue on your car from duct tape or stickers, and bug and tar removers take too much work on your arms? Follow these directions and you can remove them in minutes.

  1. Make sure that remove any duct tape or sticker first.
  2. Get a soft and clean rag or shirt that you are sure you can handle very well.
  3. Get a good amount of gasoline that you can use.
  4. Pour some gas on the rag or shirt you choose to use.
  5. Rub the part with glue residue with the gas rag as if you were washing the car. The glue will start to move in a short amount of time. Use a dry rag to wipe of any left overs if there are any.

  • There is no need for a large amount of gasoline.

  • Make sure you get the gas off of your hands before coming into contact with sparks or flames.
  • Using too much gasoline may take away the clear (top) layer of paint.
