Get Rid of Skin Imperfections

Do you look in the mirror and feel depressed at your skin imperfections? This article will give you tips on how to get rid of skin imperfections.

[edit] Scars

  1. Buy an exfoliating body scrub or lotion (a good brand is Freeman's Natural Products). While you take a shower, apply the scrub to the scarred area and smooth it into the skin. This removes dead skin cells.
  2. Rinse it off. Within three minutes from getting out of your shower, apply Vitamin E (1 capsule is enough) or skin lotion to the area to lock in moisture and soften the skin. If your scars are darkly coloured, you may rub lemon juice (if scarred on the body) or strawberries (if scarred on the face) to lighten the scar. Eventually, they will disappear. You may also use scar creams.

[edit] Pimples

  1. Buy a face cleanser suited for your skin type. Do you have dry skin, oily skin, or a combination of both? Consider consulting a skin expert. There are also pads and face washes to clean your face. If using a facial cleanser, rub it evenly around your face and neck in circular movements. If using face pads or washes, read and follow the directions on the packages. Do NOT use more than one face wash or pads as it may irritate the skin. If irritation or rash occurs discontinue using the product.
  2. Cover up. You can also use make-up to cover your blemishes. There are foundation make-up and concealers which are specially made for covering pimples and work well. Go visit your local cosmetic or drug store to see what they have.

[edit] Tips

  • It's okay for a guy to use these products too. It doesn't mean you're gay or anything. Although you shouldn't tell everyone.
  • ALWAYS read the directions before using any product.

[edit] Warnings

  • Discontinue use if rash or redness occurs. Some people may have allergies.
  • Beware of products that lie about their ingredients or results.
