This is a basic guide to getting started with Bobcad. It explains what to do when you first receive your software.

Purchase a copy of Bobcad or get a demo from Bobcad.com and install the software.
Perform any updates if required.
Install the postprocessor for your machine, as this is what will produce the proper g-code for your CNC machine.
Set up your Default cutting conditions tables and tools by right-clicking on Milling Tools, and selecting Tools.

Use BobCAD's Support line and call 877-262-2231 x147 ask for Al Depoalo

Run through the sample tutorials in help a couple times until you feel comfortable using the software before trying to tackle other parts.
