How to Get Started With Bobcad Cad/Cam

This is a basic guide to getting started with Bobcad. It explains what to do when you first receive your software.

  1. Purchase a copy of Bobcad or get a demo from Bobcad.com and install the software.
  2. Perform any updates if required.
  3. Install the postprocessor for your machine, as this is what will produce the proper g-code for your CNC machine.
  4. Set up your Default cutting conditions tables and tools by right-clicking on Milling Tools, and selecting Tools.
