How to Get Your Little Brother to Stop Bugging You
How can you stop your little brother from bugging you? This article will give you a good idea.
[edit] Steps
- Show him that he isn't bugging you by ignoring him. That'll usually cause him to stop. If he continues to annoy you, the following instructions will help.
- Explain to your younger brother how they're annoying you, by giving an example of how they are a nuisance.
- Don't get belligerent! In a non-violent manner, attempt to get your sibling in another room, or long distance away, whether this includes telling a parent, or even picking them up first-hand.
- Try not to annoy him, he'll just annoy you more.
- If something he is doing annoys you, don't tell him, and he will stop. If you tell him when it annoys you then he will find fun in it and keep doing it, if then you yell at him to stop, your parents will yell at you and he will get his way. Don't tell him when something bugs you!
- If he gets really annoying, tell on him, and that will shut him up.
[edit] Tips
- If your brother touches you, don't harm him, as this may lead to disciplinary actions.
- Next time he wants something of yours to use, don't give it to him
- If all else fails, simply walk away.
- If your brother is pulling on your hair or something, do back to him what he's doing to you, but do it nicely, or lightly hit his hand.
- Cry first.. it usually helps, depending if you are older or younger, if you are older, just walk away but then go upstairs and have a fit.
- Also, if they are annoying you still after you have repeatedly asked them to stop, smile and walk over to them and give them a nice big hug, it always stops.
- Never retaliate as this will make him feel although he has won. Just smile and do *5.
