How to Get Your Sleeping Schedule Back on Track for School

During the summer everybody goes to bed late and wakes up so late. Then when the first day of school comes around you end up tossing and turning all morning because your sleeping schedule is off track. Well here is a way to get it back together before school.

[edit] Steps

  1. Begin this routine about two weeks before school starts. Lets say the first day of school is August 27th, start this August 10th.
  2. August 10th-13th go to sleep at 12:00 AM and wake 9:30 AM, August 14-17, sleep 11:00PM, wake 8:30 AM
  3. Get the pattern? Every three days change it one hour back. You should get at least 9 hours of sleep to be completly rested for school, you can always sleep 30 extra minutes. NEVER over sleep, you will just end up tired.
  4. When the first day of school comes you will be all well rested.

[edit] Tips

  • Should always have about 8-10 hours of sleep
  • Make sure you follow this schedule no matter what happens or you will be tired for the first day of school!
