How to Get a Boyfriend (for Guys)

Around the teenage years, boys may have feelings for their guy friends. This does not necessarily mean that you are gay, or bisexual, just that you are a little unsure. The best way to find out is get a boyfriend and see if what you are feeling is the real thing or if you are just a little confused.

[edit] Steps

  1. Start spending more time with the guy that you are interested in.
  2. Invite him to your house and just act as guy friends, play video games, maybe go to a movie.
  3. If at this stage he is laughing alot at your jokes or seems to be touching you more than usual, you can be pretty sure that he likes you the same way you like him.
  4. Invite him to a coffee shop or a neutral place, where you can tell him how you feel about him. This way if you were wrong about his feelings he or you can easily leave.
  5. If he says yes take things slowly; go to each other's house and just hang out; become comfortable with one another.
  6. By this stage you might have your first kiss.
  7. If after this kiss, you still have strong feelings for him, you can be sure that you are bisexual, possibly gay.
  8. Then you can ask him if he wants to be your official boyfriend

[edit] Tips

  • Take things slow; there is no more sure way to lose a friend than asking him on a date if he is not at all interested in you.
  • Make sure you can trust the person, you don't want to be teased at school.

[edit] Warnings

  • Do not tell your friend until you are sure that he is ready to hear what you have to tell him. He will be ready when you catch him staring at you, touching you unnecessarily or laughing loudly at your jokes.
  • Many people are either uncomfortable with or dislike gay people; be prepared for all kinds of reactions.
  • Also be aware that you may not be gay. You might just be bisexual or bicurious.
