Would you like to get a Good Citizenship Award? With these tips, you can!
[edit] Steps
- Be polite. Say "Please" and "Thank You". When asking to go to the bathroom, say "May I use the restroom?" instead of "Can I use the bathroom?"
- Become the teacher's pet. Compliment the teacher on her hair or her clothes. Buy her gifts and offer to help her sort papers. Volunteer to do things like help her hang up papers in the hall.
- Sit up straight. The teacher will think you're daydreaming if you're slumped over your desk.
- Don't make trouble. Smile a lot. Don't pass notes. Do stuff other people wouldn't want to do. If asked why, smile and say,"I wouldn't want to make trouble." or "Who else is gonna do it?"
[edit] Tips
- Most teachers like kids who tell them their ideas. Don't scream out your ideas.J ust wait silently with your hand up. When she calls on you, don't just blurt out your ideas. Pause for a minute, then begin with "Well, I was thinking..."
- Some teachers hold grudges. If that's the case, confide in a friend or family member you trust and who you don't think will say, "Your overreacting".
- DO NOT ask, "Do we have homework tonight?" Chances are, the teacher will give you more.
