How to Get a Pig Ready for a Show
Pigs make great pets and can be quite pretty when all dressed up. But getting a pig ready can be a difficult task so here's how.
[edit] Steps
- Feed your pig. Feeding animals heps calm them down for show and makes them a lot less frisky when being groomed.
- Give your pig a bathe. Don't freeze your piggy to death with cold water. Pigs surprisingly like nice warm water.
- Get a pig brush. This is available at all good pet stores.
- Brush your pig. Start from top to bottom that way excess hair doesn't get tangled in the hair you've already done.
- Shave your pigs, that means shaving off the ears and shaving the tail. When shaving the tail make sure it is in a paintbrush form. Leaving the end hairy. Also make sure to Shave its stomach. Those are the typical shavings on a hog.
- Rub a little bit of strawberry milk along your piggy's body.
- Don't try to straighten its hair. Judges love it curly, plus when you straighten it, this hurts your precious pig.
- Get a bow tie that matches the season you are in and tie one around the neck and one around the very top of the tail.
- Kiss your piggy good luck and tell them it's okay if it loses.
[edit] Warnings
- Seriously don't forget to hug your pig. Pigs are a very affectionate and will love this.
