How to Get From Hong Kong Airport to Macao
This article discusses how to get to Macau (Macao) from Hong Kong. The distance between Hong Kong and Macau is 40 miles over sea and the most common method of transportation is by ferry.

- Take the train from the airport to Hong Kong.
- Take the ferry from Hong Kong to Macau. There is a range of ferry types available for travel - jetfoils, turbo cats, jumbo cats and hover ferries. Ask for further details at the terminal on ferry type. The ferry terminal (pier) is located in Sheung Wan, Hong Kong Island. The ferry will cost about 10 GBP.

- Take a helicopter as an alternative. There is also a heliport at the ferry terminal. It costs considerably more (about 150 GBP) but it only takes 15 minutes to get there.
