Do you enjoy riding horses? Here's how to get the most out of your next ride.

[edit] Steps

  1. Tell yourself that you are a good rider to boost your confidence.
  2. Make sure you are prepared.
  3. Have the right equipment.
  4. Wear a helmet.
  5. Never ride unsupervised.
  6. Know how to tack your horse.
  7. If your horse behaves well, praise them.

[edit] Tips

  • Don't come without proper riding gear! A helmet and boots are neccestity! Things like spurs and breeches are optional.
  • If you are under 18 years of age, make sure there is an adult riding with you.
  • If your horse is doing what you ask, praise them by saying things like "Good boy/girl!","That's it." and " Come on. You can do it."

[edit] Warnings

  • Ride at your own risk. If you are injured, this is not to be blamed on the owner of the horse or the instructor.
  • Do not get on a horse and expect to know how to ride them. It takes hard work to learn how to control a horse.
