How to Get the Perfect Flick for Your Party
You know you'll be swarmed with guests, so what movie will you choose to please everyone?
[edit] Steps
- Ask! Don't be afraid to ask what movies your friends like!
- Talk with your friends before hand about what kind of party they want. You could make the party into a Chick Flick party or a Scary Movie party.
- Figure out the movie a day before and ask your friends if they've seen it before.
- Search for new, fun movie titles. Or, alternately, old movies that are easy to understand. It'll have the added bonus of being less likely to have been seen.
- Try to find movies with cool actors in them, like Johnny Depp, for example.
- Check the reviews.
- Watch the movie before your friends, how do you feel? Sad, angry, hyper!? Aim for hyper-enjoyment and your party will last a long time.
- Hold off going to the movie store until your friends come; then you can all go together and pick one you all want to watch.
[edit] Tips
- Search on-line! It's fast, fun, and easy! IMDb (Internet Movie Database) and Rotten Tomatoes are good movie sites.
- Get more than one for extended variety, or so if you don't like the movie, you can change.
- Be flexible, some girls just don't like some movies (don't invite them next time).
[edit] Warnings
- Don't get a movie with sex in it, that's way too uncomfortable for girls (and boys).
- Don't get movies you wouldn't watch if you were alone.
