How to Look More Pale Without Makeup

Whether you're looking to seal a certain look or just think that you look better with fairer skin, it's very easy to achieve that light skin colour wihtout loads of foundation and powder (or clown makeup!).

[edit] Steps

  1. Go out and find yourself some oil-free sunblock (a lot of moisturizers have sunblock built in). You only need about 15 to 25 SPF -- anything else is excessive. Try not to use the stick kind because it's easy to miss places when applying it. Also, buy some baby or talcum powder.
  2. Put the sunblock on your face and neck every morning after washing. If you want, use it on your arms and chest as well. Follow this with baby powder. Just put some in your palm and pass it between that palm and your other one to spread it out, then pat it in where ever you put your sunblock as well. This is basically like using setting powder so that the sunblock doesn't make your face greasy. It also makes your skin appear lighter and a little pearly, which helps the look by reflecting light. And it smells good. :3

[edit] Tips

  • Stay out of the sun for long periods of time. Let's face it, if you're on the soccer team and are outside nearly every day for an hour or more, you're not going to be able to look very pale.
  • Look for unscented sunblock as well. People tend to notice the smell if you're wearing it on more than just your face.

[edit] Warnings

  • Baby powder gets on your clothes very easily. If it does, just pat it out.
  • Careful not to get ANYTHING in your eyes when doing this. Please.
