- Eat only when you are hungry-
- This means when your stomach growls and your body is running on empty.
- Do not eat when you are not hungry because your body will not use this new energy up; it will store it as fat.
- If you feel hungry, try drinking some water first over the course of 15 minutes. If you aren't hungry after that, then you were just thirsty.
- Calm your mind when you sit down to eat.
- You need to breathe deeply when you are eating to allow your brain to calm down.
- Slice your food into small pieces. This extends the time it takes for you to eat your food, so you get full faster and eat less.
