How to Maintain a Healthy Weight
Health is something that you have to take care of, if you don't watch what you eat and don't exersise, your health will be a huge issue. Maintaining health is also a very tricky thing to do, read this article and you will maintain a healthy weight.
[edit] Steps
- Examine your diet and exercise routine carefully. Although you probably won't need to be as harsh on yourself as you were before, you will still need to be careful in order to maintain your weight.
- Keep in touch with any "slimming" buddies you may have had. They can help you maintain your new figure
- Weigh yourself every day before breakfast for a week. Then find the average weight by adding the numbers and then dividing by seven. Do that for a couple weeks and you will find a difference..
- Exercise. It doesn't matter where and when you exercise, as long as you keep yourself moving, you are doing yourself a favor. Always stretch before you exercise, it keeps you going longer.
[edit] Tips
- Aim to have an ideal weight "band" instead of a set weight. Weight fluctuates daily for a number of reasons and you'll be fighting for a futile goal if you aim to always weigh exactly the same. Having a range of 7lbs or so will make this goal much easier (and much more realistic) for you.
- For a guide as to what your healthy weight is, try a BMI calculation.
- Don't give up all your good habits just because the scales have hit that magic number!
- Having a cramp? Then eat a banana. It's true, bananas help stop and or prevent cramps from occuring.
- Maintaining a healthy weight doesn't mean you have to be model thin. Being helthy means you can exersise and eat right without a problem.
[edit] Warnings
- Do not be unrealistic as to what a healthy weight is for you. If you set the weight too low or too high, you're setting yourself up for failure.
