How to Make Blowdarts
For the urban hunter a quick how to for making effective blowdarts, useful for taking down anything from pesky pets to annoying co-workers. Silent, accurate and versatile, and most of all, it really works!

- Gather the items listed in the "Things you Need" section
- Cut both ends the shoelace approximately 2.5cm (1 inch) from the end.
- Fray the shoelace to look like a puffball. Make sure that the puff fits the tube you'll be using, but not too tightly.
- Part the frayed ends of the shoelace and insert the pin in the center, through the aglet (the plastic or metal trimming located at the end of a shoelace), so that it protrudes on the other end of the puffball.
- After cleaning the pin of the dart with an antiseptic, insert into the tube.

- Remember that to become an effective urban big game hunter you'll have to practice in order to perfect your aim. Do this at home.
- A big explosive breath will be needed to propel the dart. Remember that the further the target, the less accurate the shot.
- Try aiming through the tube before you insert the dart to take a shot.
- When aiming remember to think about wind, elevation and whether or not you stand a chance of taking someone's eye out.
- Please try to remember it is inadvisable to dart big game such as bears, lions, elephants etc without a) a license b) tranquilizer or poison on the darts, and c) a backup (and really big) weapon.

- NEVER, EVER SHOOT AT OTHER PEOPLE.
- If you do shoot at other people, NEVER shoot at their heads. You might take out an eye.
- Never inhale on the tube. This may result in choking on the dart, which does after all have a sharp metal object in it.
