How to Make Flax and Olive Oil Dressing



Flaxseed oil and olive oil are good fats to have in your diet. This healthy dressing will add to the health benefits of your salad.

  • 2 tbsp extra virgin olive oil (choose good quality)
  • 1 tbsp flaxseed oil
  • 1 tbsp white balsamic vinegar
  • 1 tsp lemon juice
  • 2 tbsp capers
  • Salt (to taste, or optional)
  • Freshly ground pepper (to taste)

  1. Mix the olive oil, flaxseed oil, vinegar and lemon juice together in a small bowl. Use a whisk for easy of beating.
  2. Add the capers when you are almost done whisking.
  3. Season with the salt and pepper to taste.
  4. Use on your favourite salads. The balsamic vinegar matches well with citrus or strawberry flavours if you wish to include such fruits in your salad.
