Looking for some quick "gil" in FFXI? Look no further. This article will tell you incontrovertible and 100% sure ways to make gil playing FFXI. And the best part ... They CAN NOT BAN YOU or punish you in any way for using these revolutionary techniques.

- Get a weapon and go kill mobs that drop gil.
- Kill mobs that drop items and then sell the items to NPC's or on the Auction House. (Note: You need to check the going rates and place the items up for sale for less than the going rate in order to have a good chance at selling the item. If the going rate is less than what an NPC will pay, then sell to an NPC.) Don't forget to subtract the cost of placing items for auction in your profit calculation.
- Make items by leveling crafting skills. (Note: it takes gil to make gil.)
- Save beastmen's seals and participate in BCNM's. Although the drops are not guaranteed, players who do a lot of BCNM's usually make a nice return on their investment.
- Become familiar with prices paid for items by NPC's. Often times, players sell items on the auction house for less gil than they would have obtained by selling directly to an NPC. Simply buy from the AH and sell to NPC's.

A way better way is to farm for items like crystals, seeds and once you get 12 (a stack) sell those. Or you can always learn a craft, or garden.
