How to Make Homemade Spaghetti Sauce
While many canned or bottled spaghetti sauces are delicious, few can compare to the zingy taste of homemade. With very simple ingredients, you will find your guests dazzled and asking for seconds.

- Two cans tomato paste
- One can diced tomatoes
- One chopped onion
- Garlic salt, to taste
- Basil, to taste
- Oregano, to taste
- One pound of ground beef (optional)
- Two teaspoons sugar (optional)
Preparation Time: 2 minutes
Cooking time: 10 minutes

- Break up the ground beef in a pan, and sear until it is brown in its entirety.
- Pour out the fat, and add tomato paste and diced tomatoes to the pan. Stir well.
- Mix in the onion, oregano, basil, and garlic salt and sugar (optional).
- Stir the mixture with a wooden spoon, cover and let simmer for five minutes. Stir occasionally.
- Serve hot over pasta of your choice.

- Best to add less spices to start than more. You can always add more, but you can't take the spices you have already added away.
