How to Make KFC BBQ Baked Beans

This is an excellent side dish for a picnic or BBQ gathering.

[edit] Ingredients

  • 1 can (28 oz.) Bushes Baked beans
  • 1/3−1/2 cup BBQ sauce (depending on how tangy you like it)
  • 1/4 cup brown sugar
  • 1/4 cup finely diced onions
  • 1/2 cup hickory smoked bacon

[edit] Steps

  1. Pre-heat your oven to 350 degrees F.
  2. Get a small frying pan and place the bacon in it. Cook the bacon until it's cooked, but still soggy (not crunchy).
  3. Get a medium sized casserole dish and place all ingredients in it. You can lay the bacon on the bottom, then the baked beans can over it, the BBQ sauce, brown sugar, and then the onions on the top.
  4. Place the casserole dish in the oven for about 20 to 30 minutes.

[edit] Tips

  • Instead of using a casserole dish and an oven, you can simply cook everything in a saucepan on a range/stove-top, but the result won't come out as flavorful than the oven version.

[edit] Things You'll Need
