The death rocker Goth look is pretty easy to pull off considering most death rocker Goths are dumpster Goths as well. You don't need much other than some basic clothing.

Buy pants and make sure that they fit you well or are tight -- blue jeans or black pants work well. Cut out swirly shapes or skulls in colors like red, purple, or black and attach these to the pants with a glue gun on obvious places. Alternately, cut pieces that wrap around the entire width of the leg, and sew or glue them on. Glue zippers around the upper part of the legs. Use long, leather straps or dog leashes to create your own bondage around the waist and then hook chains onto them carefully. Wear two belts if you can find two that go with the rest of our outfit.
Wear black boots with your outfit. Doc Martins or Army Boots are recommended for this, but you can also improvise with the boots that are generally worn by horse riders.
Obtain a shirt in a dark shade of red, purple, blue, or grey and rip off the sleeves. Use sand paper on the area were the sleeves were so it looks like it was caught under a car or in somebodies lawnmower. You can also rub dirt or gravel on it so that it looks more grungy. Buy a tank top of a different color and repeat the steps you used to ruin the first shirt. You can also rip some holes in the front of it so that the shirt under it shows through.
Buy some fish nets or black pantyhose and cut holes in them for fingers. Use these as gloves.
Apply make-up (optional). You may want to put on black eye-liner, black lip-liner, and/or black lipstick.
Don't over-do it. While this type of outfit may seem like it was made for excessiveness, if you over-do it you will look like you are mocking yourself. You may also look like a Drag Queen if you over-do the make-up and fishnets.

Don't violate your school's dress code or you may get a warning or get in trouble. You may even get suspended.
If you are gluing zippers or fabric onto your pants, don't be too boring. You can make these things horizontal, vertical, or diagonal.
Be yourself. If you are simply doing this to follow a trend or become popular, you won't look sincere and you will probably lose friends.

If you are under 18, get permission from your parents or legal guardian to use a glue gun. If you are over 18, get permission from whoever you live with (your parents, guardian, landlord, girlfriend/boyfriend's parents, etc.) to use it, unless you own your own home. Always practice glue gun safety.
Be careful with bondage straps and chains. Don't get caught in them or chain them to you unless you specifically know how to get them off of you.
If your parents or guardians still buy your clothes, ask for permission before altering them.
When wearing fishnets or make-up in every day life, be aware that, if you are a male, you might be viewed as homosexual by many. If this bothers you, skip these parts of your outfit.
