Keep clean; Looks aren't everything, but let's be honest-a guy isn't going to see your wonderful personality from across the room. Washing and moisturizing your face on a regular basis helps give you a healthy glow. Hair products and lotions that smell good are effective tools as well.
Look nice
- Your hair: Are you a ponytail person or a hair down chick? Try doing something different with it so he will notice. Don't go crazy and dye your hair pink, but doing some little things can help. Straightening your hair with a flat iron gives a more casual look or use a curler just to curl a few pieces of hair to give your hair some extra bounce. Clips, bobby pins, anything that is different may bring attention. Try out different styles the night before school or before the event where you'll see the guy.
- Clothing: Now, some may say the clothes don't make the girl, but we all know they have some impact. Try incorporating flattering colors and fitted shirts/tank tops to spruce up your wardrobe. Make it work for your guy. If you are tall, try wearing flats around him more so he feels comfortable. However, you always want to be comfortable in the clothes you're wearing. If you're not, your discomfort will show through in the way you carry yourself.
Have confidence. This is more important than your hair or your clothes. Having confidence is not only is an attractive personality trait, but it makes you a more dynamic, interesting person as well. Someone with confidence will automatically attract people. Think about the kind of guys you notice. Do you notice the nervous, scared looking ones? Or the confident, outgoing ones?
Don't change yourself, but try being open-minded to the things he likes. Guys typically don't talk just to talk, but to talk about something. A common interest gives you something to talk about without it being too personal. Or, if you don't know anything about his interests, you can spark a conversation by asking him to tell you more about it.
Make eye contact. If you make eye contact and smile as you pass him he will notice, especially if it happens often.
