My name is Mark. My nickname is Strype, I got that nickname back in the 80's when, just after the movie Gremlins came out, while onstage, my singer was introducing the band, and out of the blue just said "And on lead guitar, we have Stripe!" (I had a blond streak in my hair, like the gremlin of that name). The name just stuck and I started spelling it with a "y" instead of an "i".
I'm 6'0" & about 175 lbs.
As of June 6, 2007, I'm 42 years old.
I have a beautiful wife, 1 awesome daughter, 2 terrific sons, and 2 gorgeous grand-daughters.
I've played guitar since the age of 15, I've been in several bands... Armageddon... Crystal Death... Toxic Shock... Alliance... Spellbinder... and others.
What I do for a living: I currently work for Dell computers.
Oh yes, I'm also a great cook, even if I do say so myself. :)
