We don't want wikiHow to become a place where there are so many rules and policies that it is no longer fun to participate. Our approach has been for our community to establish an intentionally minimal number of policies with the intent of clarifying common misunderstandings. You don't really need to know these policies to edit on wikiHow, you can do almost anything by relying on your own good judgment.
