wikiHow is a do-ocracy.

Community members should be bold when taking action to improve wikiHow. If you are acting in good faith to accomplish our shared mission of making the world's largest, highest quality how-to manual, you will almost certainly be doing the right thing.

Often editors delay improving wikiHow out of fear that an edit might not be consistent with those of previous editors or might not be covered in policy. This is a mistake. If you think your idea or edit will improve the how-to manual, do it.
